I have submitted a request to get on the list for the new tent insulation package using the online form and got a reply two weeks later.

Now that my dad is #185, I’m helping him track down all the unlisted options..

Any one know if a sliding screen win door is an option? @tyfoon11 @Iggy

I did as well but didn’t hear anything for a month then got an automatic reply saying my request was fulfilled…

I didn’t read all of your posts but maybe this may help you. It’s my drifter, fan being up doesn’t really impact sun hitting it, I just have to be a little more aware with how high I open the fan lid.

For the perrros? Only reason I can think of a sliding screen Windoor to be better than the front runners doors.

My dad mixes sleeping up top with down low depending on if solo or if my mom comes. The screen will give him ventilation and the door would give access with the long bed.

Gotcha. I sleep in my shell currently and yea having sliding screened windows is amazing.

Vagabond will have the real answer but a sliding windoor was not an option when I ordered mine. Although, I went by a few topper places and they had stacks of different sizes of shell windows, many in near new condition. Price was $1-200 for a sliding windoor. You can order a new window directly through the shell dealer but it's more expensive.

Seems to be unpredictable right now from what I’m seeing online. I’m resigned to it being at least two years before I see mine.

Depends on when you ordered it seems. I’m at 22 months and no updates and haven’t been asked for my final payment yet. It seems to be more and more delayed as time goes by if you look at the spreadsheet times.

Same. Seems like they are doing ~3 a month, maybe less. I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to figure out how many need to be produced a month to get to their mentioned lead times.

Seems to be more around 1-2 a month. I’m guessing I’ll have waited 2.5-3 years by the time I get mine at current rate of production.

The entire supply chain, locally and globally, is jacked up. It is currently wreaking havoc in the HVAC industry right now. Add to that the price of copper has doubled in the last year.

Homie o mine just got his GFC in 10 months. Bigger company though.

I think company should refund if wanted. When I bought it said 9 months lead time and that was only last October. 2 years is crazy. Only a patient fool would buy one now.

blah blah blah yes I’m complaining and haters gonna hate.

I feel the same man, it would be safe to say we were all promised a 11-12 month wait, when i last talked to phil he promised my camper would be done last month… im way to time invested now to back out and order a different camper, ive already gone through the 5 stages of grief with this whole process.
