I was down there last weekend and I swear, blasting through that thick, humid air gave me worse mpg
I kept thinking I was sweating but it was just the humid air sticking to me.

Haha! I grew up down there. I know it sounds crazy but that's my happy place. I love the hot thick air.

I like the custom leaf packs myself. The progressive spring rate keeps it from jarring. I don’t play enough in the rocks to need extreme travel. My Icon RXT’s in setting 2 have been great loaded and unloaded. They do squeak every once in a while after wheeling though.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Just ran a shop vac for about an hour in my cab. Now I gonna use the backpack blower to loosen things up and but more then got back to the shop vac.

My shit is all jacked up thanks to my dog!

Well, that was short lived. Everything was working fine and then it flickered....before going out completely.

Wiggle the connector. Did you replace the resistor when you replaced the connector?

Nvm, I see that you did both. But try wiggling it anyway. Of all the ones I’ve fixed, that was always a temp fix. The burn causes poor continuity in the pins.

I only had ac on low speed with the fan blower. Unplugged the connector and cleaned the connectors to the motor with a toothpick/really small nail wrapped with really fine grit automotive sand paper. Took a while! Plugged it back in ac works on all speeds. Been over a year. I replaced the resistor but that wasn't it so I but the OEM resistor back in and it still works. SO now I have a spare resistor. The wires were definitely dark on one of the prongs maybe 2 of them I can't remember. Been over a year and still working. Didn't replace the harness either. Just my story. Take Care.

Tried that. Also tried jiggling my crimped connections on the new harness and all of them were tight and didn't budge. The new connector is a square design whereas the old was an inline, so I didn't really have a choice.

Interesting. From what I've read, it is usually only the high that will work.

None of the prongs on the OEM connector were burned or discolored. Everything looked A-OK. No going back now though.

I did take out the in-cabin air filter and give a visual inspection of the motor. It looked good, but the filter was jam packed. It got replaced 10-15k ago, so I was a little surprised at how dirty it was. They are usually clean when I replace them at the recommended 30k intervals. Anyway, I was already vacuuming out the truck, so I got the big stuff off the filter and stuck the vacuum hose inside the hole for the filter just in case there was something else down in there. Put everything back together, turned the ignition to the on position and air was blowing.

At this point, I'm not hopeful that it is fixed...well, maybe just a little hopeful.

So it only works on high still, or not at all (when it’s acting up of course)?

A buddy of mine has summit wheels and they fit my truck just fine. I like the -25 offset as well

It either works as it should, or not at all.

Hmm. That’s unusual. I’d suspect the switch in the dash then, maybe something’s gotten loose/corroded back there. I’d check that next.
