It's less Tacoma and more mod
You guys put an unhealthy amount of thought into packing for cold. I just throw some of my cold weather stuff in the truck and call it good. I'm not even sure I know what any of my jackets and coats are made out of. It's just crap I have amassed over the years. I've had no problem well into the single digits

I was walking up to 14,000 ft on New Years Day. I think the thought I put in was warranted :p

    (and I still overpacked)

I need to mount my trolling motor there and I didn’t realize my outboard has the throttle control port side so I need to redo the decals lol

Yes, that's the set that's going on with the new meats.

Here's a lesson that my son learned about painting wheels using Duplicolor wheel paint. The front wheels seemed to hold up better against rock chips than the rear wheels after a few weeks of use.

It turns out the front brakes heat up the wheels and cause them to cure faster/harder than the rear.

The next set of wheels that he painted he put them in the oven to heat them up so they would cure after painting. IIRC he only used the lower rack because the wheel would fit in the oven. Turned on the vent hood so the melted crayon smell would not go through the house.

The set he cured in the oven turned out better than the first. Anything to expose the wheels to heat before mounting is good.

While this is a different application, we use a lot of VHT header (2,000 F) paint with good success. We follow the priming, painting, and curing recommendations usually in an oven. Correctly oven cured, I get results with VHT that are like powder coating.

    YMMV depending on wheel paint.

How hard do you think it’ll be to get a shop to redo an alignment from a couple weeks ago?

if it was just one tire getting messed up I could see me somehow bumping it out, but it’s both sides doing the same thing.

This would be a unique and fun trail buggy. Though, I would want a little more than a 2cv engine. @Empty_Lord @01x4 @Kwikvette @Sperrunner @0xDEADBEEF

Buggy à deux chevaux. It needs a snorkel. The top can be rolled back. Look at the tires.
