I ended up buying a $25 4K Roku stick and use it solely for f1tv. Works perfectly.

I agree with this. That's real racing. The way it was always done by the guys fighting for the championship. Maybe Lewis drifted out farther than he should've but certainly wasn't trying to cause an accident. Two drivers fighting for the win, both knowing it could be decided by who is in front at the end of the first lap. If the roles were reversed the same thing could have happened? The difference is I hate hearing Lewis whining on the radio. None of that today though. Cant wait for the next race.

That result doesn't sit well with me , the stewards obviously found Hamilton responsible for the collision or he wouldn't have gotten a penalty , yet after punting his main rival off the track he manages maximum points

I was hoping Levlerc would be able to hang on , great drive by Alonso

Oh yea the result doesn't sit well with me either (I'm rooting for Max). But I feel if the roles were reversed both guys would've gone in the same way. Flat out. I agree I was hoping Lecleric could hang on as well. I still think no penalty racing incident (both Karun and Omar said that) By doing so its going to prevent drivers from going for it so it's promoting a procession as we've seen a lot of the last few years.

my issue with it is the stewards deemed the accident to be Hamilton's fault or there would have been no penalty , so does a 10 second timed penalty seem a worthy substitute for Fishlips dropping 25 points ?

Yep, consistency. I'm not a supporter of Max or Ham but a 10 second penalty is pretty weak.

I am up for hard racing but... that corner, cold tires at 180 mph is not the place to just send it and expect the other driver to concede. Hamilton is pretty good at bullying people on that corner.

    Bring on HUNGARY!!

I don’t think that he (Hamilton) would deliberately do this to any driver at that speed and perfectly calculate it all just for points he could possibly make up during the rest of the season. It’s ludicrous to me and if people think he would deliberately put a driver in danger like that… that’s a real shame.

Has anyone seen the racism issue against Hamilton? I have seen several teams "condemn" it, but not the actual incident post race. I am against racism of course, just wondering what actually happened.

My issue with the incident, is Hamilton is supposedly the GOAT, or at least the best of this generation, with his skill, experience, and car control it would be hard to say he didn't expect the outcome of the incident.

I don't think at that speed anyone, no matter how good you are, could have planted a tire in the perfect spot to send your opponent spinning into the barriers and leave you racing with practically no damage. The way it looked to me is that Hamilton saw he still had a clear line through and Max thought Hamilton was a little further behind and he had room to come back over. Just a racing incident in my mind. I liked the penalty from a sporting perspective hoping that it would change up the podium again but I don't know if it was warranted.

I pretty much agree. The other perspective is, what could Max have done differently? I don't think he could have really done much.I think it was a bad decision from Ham, but likely a racing incident.

I want to hear what "Fishlips" has to say. Hows he doing? That hit had to be absolutely brutal. I was surprised and happy to see him walk away from that

Online stuff. So probably posts to his social media accounts.

Its seemingly not just him though but reactions to athletes all over when things go against their team or the other team. Look at the crap the three England players who missed penalties had to deal with.
