All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Truck is looking sweet my man. Agreed wheels look proper!

Noticed one of the knobs was starting to tear. Been running these for 14 months probably about 16/17k miles. Would you be concerned about this or just normal wear and tear?

need to inspect the other tires still

Tires should never do that no matter what brand they are. I would get those tires warrantied asap. The cracks could expost the belts and that could lead to a bunch of potential problems such as a blow out and high speeds.

I would take them back to discount tire. They are really good at taking care of there customers.

Also while this could be a fluke you might want to consider looking into a different tire. My personal recomendation would be the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro's.

STT Pros were up on my top 3 for tires when i picked up the g003s. I'm going to run by discount tire at lunch today and chat with them, do you think its bad enough that i should throw my spare on for the time being? I did an initial walk through and it really only seems like that spot on that tire has the issue

See what discount tire will do first. If they can’t do anything before your trip I would put the spare on.

Agreed. That’s way too jacked up to roll out on HWY speeds.

So i went down to @Discount Tire during lunch to 1) see if they thought this was safe to drive on, and 2) if not, was there anything they could do for me.
I had 2 reps take a look. Both told me it was fine to drive on and since i didn't purchase the additional coverage they wouldn't do anything else for me. Guess i'll throw on the spare and start looking for some new tires. Been getting tons of adds from SimplyTire and seems like they got some of the lowest prices so i might go that route

Dang they won't sell you the coverage? I've had them help like that before. There warranty is pretty good you should have gotten it from the get go. I'd reach out to Yokohama. There should be a milage warranty?

Do you mean sell me the coverage now after running the tires for 1+ years? I get why they wouldn't do that lol
I checked Yokohama - they dont warranty any of their MT tires unfortunately, only really the All seasons

Maybe see about purchasing a single tire replacement and the certificates for all tires from @Discount Tire ?
