Tacoma inventory spreadsheet

So far it looks pretty good and easy to use. I narrowed down my area/ state or surrounding states by jotting down dealer codes and was able to use the filter and sort and it worked out pretty good. Definitely a nice set up and much appreciated for you to do this.

 

When I download the spreadsheet and filter through the desired model and trim package, is there a way to sort by date added? So I can see the newest information added to the spreadsheet?
I have been emailing dealers like a mad man and it is hard to keep track of who I have already contacted haha

 

Unfortunately my build only shows 9 in circulation and not one to my dealer haha. The wait continues.

 

I've learned a few things about the new platform the data is loaded into.

1. Use this link to view inventory. Copying the link in the url bar will always link to whatever version of the data you are currently looking at.
2. This platform tracks changes between consecutive updates. That is what the lower left information is (from today):
   1. +527 rows means 527 new vehicles have been added to the data since yesterdays update
   2. 4479 rows that haven't changed (they were there yesterday, and they are still there today)
   3. -1277 rows means that 1277 vehicles have been removed from the list. Probably safe to assume that these have sold? The data still shows them with a red background.
3. You can look at previous versions of the data by changing "commit" input and choosing a new date.
   
4. Link to view dealers on the same platform.

i just wanted to give a huge thanks to the OP @_kmg_ for creating this amazing spreadsheet! i was able to find the exact vehicle i wanted and was first to inquire about it when it arrived. couldn't have done it without you.

Kind of related. I see references to vehicles that are in the queue to be built, but aren't built yet. Is this from the same spreasheet or are people doing something else to see that and place orders?

From a conversation I had at a dealership with one of the employees, people are doing this a lot of different Toyota models.

Been a few weeks since ive looked at this forum...wife ended up needing a car so I'm almost certainly out of a new truck until next year...Oh well this SHOULD be helpful to anyone looking for a new ride now...great work!

 

How long before they get these in stock? It's showing a nearby dealer is getting one I want that they didn't have yesterday.

does anyone have a list of parts inventory? just wondering how many 3rd gen frames they have already in stock (if any).

 

Are you asking out of curiosity on how many model years they're planning to build on that frame? I'm purely speculating here but I'd suspect the number of frames already built is only slightly more than trucks actively being built. Obviously they need to account for accidents that need frame replacement but beyond that, an excess of frames take up storage space. Think "just in time supply"

 

was rear ended a couple weeks ago and need a new frame on my 2020 truck. it is supposedly on backorder. that's why i ask.

 

Oh man. Sorry to hear, that hurts. They have an estimate of how long they were backordered for? I wouldn't think the change over from '21s to '22s would be long since any changes are going to be minor & cosmetic but perhaps the frames being built will cover the gap & fill backorder.

nope, not yet at least. still trying to get the at-fault insurance co. to pay. they have to try to contact the guy at least three times before they can determine fault but so far he has not answered the phone.
