In fairness to me and the steaks in question, the cut was sub par and they were given to me for free from my dad. I should have known better than to trust meat from his freezer, but we didn't end up eating them. I took one bite and they went in the trash

Welcome! Glad to see another black Taco. I don't see many.

 

I called a guy about an XJ (this one) and he was bold enough to try and charge me $100 just to try and start the thing. I guess I missed that part of the ad, but he's out of his damn mind if he thinks he's getting $100 from me just to try and start a vehicle that I might not even buy, like some sort f'd up carnival game with no chance for a prize. People have pretty wild ideas about what things are worth lol

 

Went through the whole ad.

That guy.... Lives a sad life.

 

Yeah, he wouldn't really say why he was charging me $100 but I got the impression that there is some sort of fuckery going on with this guy.

 

Maybe he's updated it since you looked at it cuz right now it says it starts but doesn't run or won't turn over or something and he doesn't want people wearing out his electronics. Tells me the thing is a piece of junk

 

That's what I was thinking. He probably doesn't want anybody to see the big ol' puff of blue or white smoke when it cranks.

Plus, the guy is way out in the boonies from me. I'm sure somebody will pick it up, I've seen a bunch of lifted XJs being driven by high schoolers around my area.

 

Power company came through to trim away from the power lines. Didn't expect them to hack off half of my tree

Yup we all keep tabs on each other like one big happy dysfunctional family

 

Idler pulleys replaced. My truck has stopped screaming

 

They always sound so close to catastrophic failure when they are going bad that it's startling to have them not make noise.

 

Every other vehicle I've had just started chirping when an idler was heading south. For some reason this truck had an unholy death wail

 

Today was... a whole ass ordeal.
I'm a couple days behind on my personal work schedule now but it feels good to have both cars in the garage
