Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

I like to think it's all collar positions being sold by shareholders..
Sell the $175 friday call for $700
and then buy the $167.50 put for $450...
and then it floats sideways into close and you pocket $250...That's a solid 1.44% return

 

Giving it a LITTLE more room...
The previous valleys were like $1.24 and $1.22...I think I'm looking at a psychological $1.09 as an "We'll that didn't work" exit....

Still liking my long $60 $WB call....It's china yea..but look at today..fell to $58 and then right back up and 1/3 volume...Think it's going to start a steady climb...Cup and handle look...

save money and get the 205si, be impressive if you could hit it's limits outside of pipe/beam welding. Or for that money get an htp tig and separate plasma

I also might have forgot to mention I picked up 4@ NVDA AUG 20 $750 calls Friday. Once they are made whole tomorrow that should be 16 calls at the $187.50 strike.

 

I hope not I had some free funds from selling GTII to try to gap down so I bought SPLG at 330 today. If sp500 is down tomorrow guess I’m long. I’m thinking it’ll be a bounce up tomorrow and I can sell it back and get like 20$ in my pocket from it

edit if I’m long oh well it’s my “cheap” sp500 fund when I don’t have enough for a share of VTI.

 

i'm with you it seems less like labor shortage and more like everything is getting ready to get going and most companies are just being as cheap as can be about getting back into the swing of things and keeping up with inflation and commodities going up. Even with the manipulation money printing and unemployment payouts, no such thing as a shortage just prices that aren't high enough yet. Now bet's are on where and when people will finally be ready to suck it up and pay - in that case the outlook still ain't great for the US the way all the peeps on financials side of things want to bleed it all dry

Got out at $7.99 and was regretting it...and then this happened...

I will have (4) 9/17 $200 calls...Today was fish or cut bait...luckily it recovered in spite of the market...

 

I bought in at $7.21. Saw it hit $10.18 but had to hold until tomorrow. Hopefully another little run happens.

 

would be nice to see a bounce back tomorrow. I’m long on 60% of my portfolio anyway so no worries. TIPS and investment grade bonds for use in the near term when I retire are the only things I had in the green today.

 

I specifically want the room to weld pipe as I plan to work on structural steel as well as aluminum pipe

there are a lot of equipment items I want to build ontop of wanting to be able to do double passes on larger items like axels

I’m also interested in the larger power window so I can use more of my duty cycle when working on simple things.

but I do appreciate your input if you have more thoughts on the matter

 

September calls are a safe bet. They release earnings on Aug 18 so I'm cutting it really close on the August expiry.

I also grabbed one ROKU AUG 20 $400 call today when they where down this morning.

My day wasn't shitty at all. Market down huge and I ended the day up $4K. lol

 

My wife pays $15 and it goes to 0 when she dumps it in the sink.

Why the hold?

So I bought at $6.90 and then set a $0.75 trailing stop loss TRIGGERED on market action of the quote price of $AHPI being over $7.75....So today it broke $7.75 and my trailing stop went live, it went up to like $8 something....and then I sold at $7.74ish...
I love the set order on market conditions for things like this...That squeeze was like 30 minutes. Without that order set I miss that spike. Granted the end of day went even higher before close and then tanking...but I can't predict that...

 

Did you close them? Daytrade?
Hopefully you bought the dip....I've just been hammered by buying the first step of a fall down the stairs lately

 

Because it’ll count as a day trade and I didn’t want to waste one on that play.
