i looked at it when you mentioned it earlier...but figured it was doneso...i mostly tuned out today....should've kept watching...

i'm gonna add to my list...anytime there's volume on this thing it looks like it spikes

 

We used to have a Kuerig back in the day but now we have the Nespresso. I love the lattes that that thing makes.

 

I'm a straight coffee...non-fancy...low calorie guy so bang for my buck...can't beat this...

 

They have a distribution center / roasting center in Gardnerville about an hour South of me. Used to sell them their forklifts. You've never seen so many giant burlap bags of coffee in your life. Thousands of square feet just stacked as high as they can stack. It's nuts (well, beans)

 

I do straight coffee and some creamer every day for work just out of the fridge. I like to take it cold. But on my days off I treat myself to one of those nespresso lattes. I’ll have to check out that Aeropress though.

 

ROKU? Not a day trade but I picked it up when it was down $4 this morning. I've been watching them lately and think it's the bottom. I'll buy more as conditions dictate.

The NVDA calls I got when NVDA was down $25 or so Friday. I'll hang into those like their gold. Because they will be.

Nice for a day. They're up 22%. Funny thing is my NVDA calls are also up 22%. And my 100 NVDA shares? Also up 22%. I thought I was seeing triple for a minute. lol

 

Impressive. Down less than 1 % today so I'll take it. I am also tempted to say goodbye to ARK and just let it be, then again years from now I'm sure It will still be well above what it is today.

Also just realized I forgot to sell off AMC shares after a Limit sell didnt hit one day. casual 15% mistake... oh well. Only 3 shares. at this point just bag hold it for the chance it does something funny again?

Lots of coincidences I'd say. Shorts haven't closed their positions, not one eency weency bit.

I don't think we're getting a reprieve or bounce tomorrow, I think it's going to be another bloody day. There's some new automated margin call rules that are in effect now as well and increasing capital requirements.

And as @Iwilltaco I'm sure will be along presently to say, "Wen catalyst"

 

I couldn't watch ARK in my portfolio anymore. Keep in mind it was supposed to be my "safe" play. I ended up taking a 18% loss on it. I know I'll recoup so that made it acceptable for me. If your looking 10 years down the line they are a very safe bet to hold. I'm not. I'm looking 6 months down the line. lol

 

Ark is set it and forget it long term hold. Cathie knows what she's doing. Our boy in Bishop gets a little antsy sometimes if he hangs onto something for more than a month lol

As far as tomorrow being another red day? Who knows. I do know I don't have many positions open and since closing out ARK I've got a whole lot of ammo waiting for a target.

hmmmm I might have to look at ARK as a long term hold too. Not that vti is bad but I might look at ARK holdings and compare them. If ARK is only slightly overlapping then I might end up there with a bit.

 

I really really want to put in one years worth of my Roth contributions into ARKX and let it sit for 45 years and see what happens, but by then who knows, our whole economy could be toast by that point. I feel like it'll trade sideways for a while before it really ramps up. But it is tempting to chuck money at some high dividend ETF like SPHD and watch it just go up and up and up.

 

We'll all be dead in 45 years. Earth will be a smoldering wreck from either mass war or mass warming. Maybe both if we're lucky.

Speaking of which there was a huge thunderbolt crack about an hour ago and now I smell fresh wildfire smoke.

You still planning on Playing this? I'm very tempted to buy some but I've never watched an IPO lockup and what happens after that date before. My mind instantly goes to thinking what If company execs sell massive chunks of shares and there's way more sell orders than buys and it takes a massive hit? It may be one of those things I learn by doing. Buy a couple hundred leading up to, watch it on that day and see if it drops a shit ton, and scoop up more.
