Nope. Just "regular" extended 2.5s with clickers

good point. I hope they can do the internal jounce spring upgrade since mine don’t have it, and I’m doing a coil swap. May have to wait...

we’re you thinking headstrong or someone else? I’m in Idaho

I don’t want limiting straps. I want the most current version of the shock upgraded to my shocks. Limiting straps would look silly on my rig

I’m ok with delays as long as it’s honestly communicated, shit happens I get that. But when they feed you bs answers it really sucks. I rather get an “we aren’t really sure” as opposed to “They should be welded up by the end of the week” then 8 weeks later they still aren’t done.

Heh. If you don't want limit straps, either be okay with the shock/UCA topping out or decrease your preload. Going for every bit of travel out of stock-length arms puts you right up against those travel limits by definition. So figure out what you want the limit to be. It's going to be one or the other.

I have 1.5” of lift and well within the range where I’m not close to too much preload. I only have like 3/4”-7/8” of threads showing. I don’t get top out ever, I just wanted the convenience of the upgrade.

I was looking to get them rebuilt specifically with new 14” 650# coils. I don’t want to spend crazy amounts to do it like accruing wanted so I was just going to go with the makers

So I ordered from Headstrong on March 3rd after Marie confirmed the order. The front coil overs didn’t show up until May 14. The rears didn’t show up until May 24. So about 10-12 weeks overall. Rough waiting but glad I ended up getting it before the holiday weekend so I could have time to get everything installed.

Also, should be noted when I ordered these over King or Fox Marie quoted me 3-5 weeks.

Are your rears smoothies or bypasses? I think my bypasses are whats holding my order up. I ordered Jan 20th.

It's a mighty big discrepancy to go from 3-5 weeks (same I was told) to 12 weeks. I messaged ADS via Instagram DM, and whomever that was responding to me, said orders placed mid March we're still 4-5 weeks out

Smoothies with resi and clickers. The bypasses are what's holding it up most likely. However, I talked to a company a few weeks ago out of California and they told me the front coils are not the issue for most kits (Fox, King, Elka, etc) the issue is with the body for the rear shocks. With all the raw material supply chain issues he said that an order of King rears for a 3rd gen was 15-30 weeks out and that was only a rough estimate could be more or less. When I called Toytec to see if they had Elka's in stock they quoted me 12-15 weeks for the order to be fulfilled.

Hope that helps to provide some clarification. If you have a more complex rear shock than just a standard smooth body replacement - odds are you will be waiting longer. On a side note, sorry to hear it I know how much it sucks to pay for something up front and not have it for weeks and weeks.

Yes It's 5 to 8 weeks. My coil overs with 700lbs springs arrived in 3 weeks, But the rear shocks took 7 weeks due to parts delay.

Probably depends on what you order and what they happen to have in stock, but yeah, I suspect you're right that it's going to get worse. Hopefully the supply chain thing all catches up with itself soon.
