Great comeback win today for the good guys! Dodgers have not been a team to come from behind so this is encouraging.

 

Must be a Homer Simpson cause every Giants fan just said “Doh!”

Yup, somebody’s leaving town alone in first place. I recall a month or more ago hoping the Dodgers and Padres would wail on each other, I imagine the Padres are hoping for a more or less even slugging match now. They have to win to take advantage and gain ground though.

 

It's pretty wild how well the Dodgers are doing given most of the star power has spent significant time on the IL. Everyone was coronation the Padres pre-season but the 162 games reveal a lot.

Both teams are depleted but both still put players on the field. I thought the Giants would struggle more lately with 4 starting position players (not platoon players) on il but they’ve been Mutt & Jeffing through it. Can’t pitch the ninth that way and expect to win though.

It’s getting to be like basketball where you can skip watching until the end of the game. Way to go Wilmer.
