annoying dash chirp while dash is hot, goes away with AC defroster on

2011 Double Cab. Anyone seen this before? Dash has a load chirp/squeak when it is hot and has been in the sun. It seems louder the hotter the dash plastic is. I can run the AC on defrost and it mostly goes away so it has something to do with the vent area. I have removed the radio and AC controls and jammed my hand all around in there while driving with no influence to the sound so I think it is far up in the dash where the glass meets the body. It is very annoying and if anyone has a fix for this you would be much appreciated.

 

Does it do it when the blower fan ls OFF?

Mine used to make a chirp when it was cold, it was the blower fan.
It finally quit making the noise after a couple winters. I guess it gave up on me “fixing it”.

 

Does your radio have the little cooling fan in it? Some people have had that make noise.

 

Is your dash swelling in the heat and squeaking against the glass?

I bought that foam stuff at Home Depot and helps out a lot and my dash rattle is 99% gone

 

Something is swelling in the heat. I think it may just be the dash in general. Putting pressure on it with my hand doesn't influence the squeak.
