I drive a lot different full size trucks, only problem I have with Tacoma is the throttle response. It rides same like most the truck, lack power because it’s a v6.

True. Saying that "he dragged on speed bumps at 5 mph with only 400 pounds in the bed with the stock OR suspension"?

What we have here is someone living off the I sure hope this blows up my page if I write about it. I honestly rather read reviews on how a prostate massager made me bust a qt on Adam and Eve vs. this shit.

At a certain point the guy could have just bought a Ford Raptor vs. trying to tart up his 3rd gen with calf and pec implants

In totally unrelated news, I’d like you to read this persons truck build story where They express daring and/or popular emotions about a popular truck and get a bit of ad revenue depending on traffic to the page. I’ll paste the link here so you can check it out!

A tune would address that problem. I just had the KDMaxx tune done and it definitely improves throttle response.

Don’t forget the ECU tune cosplay. Gotta dress that sheep up for the cliff.

What a load of crap. A dude spends a lot of money on a truck, is disappointed with how it rides so he throws more money into it, hoping he can make it into something he really enjoys driving. And then he has the AUDACITY to publish a story about it on a website?

    BTW, I'm that guy...literally.

And if you quote someone, you should quote it correctly.
I said hit and slammed the bumpstops, never dragged.
And it's not an ad. Just my honest opinion and how I was able to make the truck better. Hopefully it helps someone, who may not be willing to pour hours of time into this forum, find a solution to a common problem.
    Thanks for reading!

Thanks. For sure - opinions and experiences are all lies around here!

That said, I've gotten some solid advice lurking around here for the past 6 months. There's good stuff if you know where to look (and how to sift through the BS).

I got intake and exhaust combo fixed the issue. The tune was expensive back the day. Now it’s cheaper and much better value.
