I ordered one...finally! Now to install the DMM and make the two play nice together.

Mine got one yesterday...tackling the interior this evening before the rain comes through.

Hello folks.

New to the site in out of Fairfax county.

I posted an intro in the general area and was directed over here.

Where do y'all like to go for a little forest road or trail riding? I'm based in Fairfax county and spend most of my time down in the GW national forest and on the WV side. I've been exploring east of the Blue Ridge a little, but I haven't had too much luck yet. A lot of gates.

I have been known to have the same problem. Hopefully, they get here faster than Kings.

 

10-15 weeks according to Tyler. Interestingly enough, they didn't charge a deposit. Had I known that I would have ordered them sooner.

 

It's possible to pass inspection with a large hole in your fender.

Been a minute since I posted here, life got in the way. Anyway, my 2013 is approaching 100k miles and I'm gearing up for getting her ready for the next 100k. Part of the work is going to be a new clutch + throwout bearing + TSB parts, mine has been chirping for a bit because... well... 6 speed Tacoma transmission, thanks Toyota. Anyone have a good recommendation for a shop to do it? I moved to the Ashburn area, but I don't mind driving somewhere for a trustworthy mechanic.

On a similar vein, aside from the clutch, what else would y'all put on the 100k list? Filters, oil, trans fluid, xfer case fluid, diff fluid, hit all of the driveshaft zerks, throttle body cleaning is my list so far. I did spark plugs at 60k, so they're good to go for a bit.

 

I would add clean the maf, replace serpentine belt, and while you have the belt off, check the idler pullies for any slop. Power steering flush is relatively easy too so may as well do that too.

 

The area is beautiful out there. The area west of leesburg is quite beautiful

 

Where are you in VA? I just bought 15x tensioner pulley bearings. Id give you one if you want..
