These use standard tooling, nothing special required  They do get some odd sized drilled holes though.

And thanks all for the well wishes on my job opportunity. It really is a tough decision. Do I swallow my pride and just stay here, knowing that I'll be in the same position the rest of my career? Would I survive away from my wife, and kids and our animals?
It would be a same position I'm in now but more likely a greater chance for advancement. Hard to focus now..it's huge decision

Someone recently posted here about making decisions with a faith based guidance. In all honesty, I feel very distanced from the good lord above. I too in the past would pray for help in times of need. Anymore, not so much but rather more of a thankfulness for what I have achieved so far.
Sooo, if any of you ever pray, please remember me.

Good luck with whatever you choose. The fear of the unknown is always scary. I for one, always choose family over career. As long as I make enough to live a decent life and don’t need to worry about a tight budget. I’d rather fill my life with experiences with the family than stuffing my bank account. It’s easy to get caught up in the status quo.

    You got it brother!

I agree, I have looked at some job openings recently but get to thinking about my family and what I do now, I don't make as much as I could but we are blessed and get by

Gonna be awesome when you get it done, what are the crossbars, Bosch or some other brand? I used off brand from McMaster Carr to make the shelf in my other truck.

Looks like they are 80/20 4-slot T-slot extruded bars.

    It’s a 10 series t-slot extrusion. I bought mine from here:
    https://www.tnutz.com/product/ex-1020-black-1-x-2-x-54-smooth-t-slotted-aluminum-extrusion-for-prinsu-roof-rack/
Im sure I could have bought lengths of it and cut/tapped it myself but these are pre anodized which I liked better than powdercoating them.

I like them, but man, I really think they'd clash with my Quicksand truck lol

Those inserts saved many air tools over the years -- the operators would drop the tool directly on the handle which would rip the threads right out of the aluminum housing.
