I have one of those handguards on my 74.

 

I didnt check out his wife, but the muzzle brake was a smoking hot, a great add, it did help with the recoil with follow-up shots. Was looking to get the Bulgarian flash hider, out of stock everywhere, and people on gunbroker were wanting at least $400 for it

 

I wish. It's a vepr svd-style stock set from Rheinland Arms

What tier wood did you get? I went with the Grade 1. Starting to really look good. HG is about 90% done and the stock 70%

 

I can't remember. It's been a few years now. I think one. Looks like your stain is coming out like mine.

 

Yea I wanted something closer to the original stock color. I sent this to a buddy who’s finished my red tabuk set too. He does good work

 

It looks great from the pictures. Going on a VEPR? That's what mine is. It had a Magpul handguard with a custom bracket to make it fit. I like the wood much better. Think I'm gonna drill a few holes on the lower part of it for a bi-pod. Would be handy seeing that heavy barrel makes the rifle heavy.

anyone ever get one of those Galil clones like the Galeo or Gallant? Not the Golani as it's not made anymore. Thinking about a Galeo pistol

 

Correct, but only with long guns. My right eye is garbage.

 

Got my bobcat out of layaway today and test fitted the Osprey micro on it before it left work.
Next week if I have time I’ll put it back on in the short configuration.

 

Has anyone cut their MAK-90 thumb hole stock to remove a small piece around the bottom of the thumb hole?

Thinking of cutting out this section and refinishing it.
