It warms my heart to see someone else express this. I feel likewise but not as strongly about the OEM Audio+

@CoastieRon Did you have to use an adaptor for them to go in the doors for a better fit? I have a 2010 and i know the OEM is 6x9 but wasnt sure if a brackets helps any?

Guess i may put these Hertz up for sale since they are new in the box if i go this route with the Morels

EDIT, i see you used the metra brackets

    Yeah.
Well, I did that. But I am in the process of undoing that. Spacer lift of audio is funny. My goals are not super high anymore, but a bit higher than what I ended up with. Granted, not much out of my pocket so far, though.

I used the Metra, and they work, but I got the TT (them who shouldn't be named?) brackets for a firmer fit.

    75 a channel. 125 is perfect. They're rated at 130 I believe.

Well, I guess I'm going in the attic to get the box LOL.

AudioControl's customer service is incredible. Moreover, their LC line is so easy to set gains on, it's ridiculous. Sonic Electronix has it on sale right now $549, Crutch $599, or open box $541.95

not a bad price, I need to see what my old shop can do for me on that amp as well. Luckily, the sales rep for them is also the JL rep so I may have 2 good choices to choose from.

One reason I went 6x9 in my single cab.

Very true re the spacer lift..but at least it's safe. Most people aren't that into music like you or myself..I mean, my wife barely turns the radio on in her ride.

Thanks I appreciate that! Ron has some serious skills and it’s been great to see more ideas. So many components out there. For those amp racks T Tunes seems like the only thing like it, and it's well thought out. Someone should sell an alternative. Not quite deep enough for larger amps. The design is simple but it does seem to be the best approach. Good clearance and wiring pass under the rack is really helpful. I forgot to check the jumper settings on the crossovers for the tweeter placement. I didn’t read that part until it was too late. So maybe I will remove the seat, I doubt it though, the tweets seemed dialed in.

Hey thanks! I used their amp rack in my old tundra. It's definitely a good design. If I decide to move my amp (which I'm been thinking about more and more) it's going to get moved into the under seat storage.

I agree, it would be great for someone to make some out of ABS with a similar design. 75$ is pricey for a rack and considering getting product from them is hit or miss. The ones the guys from 5 Star Car audio makes are awesome but they dont sell to the public
