No problem. I don’t know exactly what’s happening but it looks like a package has been shipped to me, unsolicited. Long story short, I cancelled my orig order with her because of some shenanigans related to the order of the pre-order fulfillment. She refunded in full. I re-ordered through Tacomabeast and received my handle in Feb. Now it appears she wants to send me another one, free. That’s my story and if I get it I’ll let you know and we can tee up the shipping details.

I was going to get one of these but kind of hesitated. Then I saw this thread. Long wait times, wrong parts, damaged, banned from TW....um that's gonna be a hard pass! I really wanted one too:(

Unsolicited handle delivered today (USPS/Cda Post), still had DHL sticker on it as well. Re-gifted to a member in Timmins ON who is having an ugly dispute with the purveyor of all grab handles. Hopefully that wraps it.

My wife says I should be buying lottery tickets. :D

That is too damn funny. I have not seen a more miss-managed vendor in my life.

Good on you for passing it on to someone experiencing the usual KTJO 4x4 issues.

If we had the ability to give out awards, @wiljayhi would get the "Hope for Humanity" award. Not only did he see a need and take action, but he took the generous route. Instead of using the extra grab handle for his own profit and gain, he help a fellow member (my wife and I). Again a big thank you for being a person we need more of today.

Can't wait to update you all next week with the install.

I think it has only been two folks that were to receive an accidental second handle.

Versus messing with the ancient poll, I will toss up an honorable mention for you.

Well, I got an extra handle too or better said just an A pillar trim piece. No actual handle though. Not sure if it would be of use to anyone ($free.99 of course) but who knows... maybe there's a spare handle somewhere out there.

    That's friggin' hilarious.

Shades of the orchestrated mailing of the latest orders “one piece at a time” to keep the clientele from storming the head office. :D

I still don't have a firm grasp of the rationale there. Here's a useless pillar trim that you can't do anything with until KTJO 4x4 sends out a handle.

Well, it might make some wall art, or something. But knowing KTJO 4x4, there's gonna be clusterfuck on that second shipment. I haven't snooped the FB page, but I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't some kind of ransom.

Radio silence on FB. Her last post was Jun 24 and speaks of the new web site and the demise of the Pre-order going forward.

The next Waterloo may be the HUD. One customer is complaing that he pre-ordered over a year ago aaaand …crickets. Who knew?

Sounds like changes but stayin' the same.

Oh yeah. I forgot about the HUD. It has been a long time.

The redline thing still makes me laugh. The tuned Taco / HUD overlap has to be significant.
