smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
I made pressure cooker chicken with one jar of bbq sauce and one box of chicken bone broth for 18min
The chicken was a 50/50 of thighs and breast

    rice was leftovers
The chicken you see was actually made yesterday too
And then I added bacon to the pan to sweat out some of their fat
Added the spinach to the pan to pick up some of that flavor
Then the leftover rice for crisping up
    Then the leftover chicken
    Add the eggs and cheese

    and it made
    A lot
    Enough for 2-3 burritos

had one for breakfast and then had the remaining for lunch and dinner

    it was money
    I recommend

    I’m 6’3
    It comes with the territory

I love throwing an egg in rice....also crushed nuts sauteed in oil before the rice...
I never thought to add egg to rice until I was like "what's this good stuff in the house rice?"
    oh, egg!

I went to culinary school after high school and then went to work running a kitchen
    Hated it
Got a bad taste in my mouth..... lol
    So I kinda stopped cooking
And then all the time I spent active duty living in the barracks it wasn’t really an option, and since being a Civillian I find occasions that I cook for a week or two and then loose interest again

    but
Covid lockdown has made me fat so I’ve finally got room in my parents kitchen and the tools to cook

And for some reason at 3am I found “food wars” on Netflix
And that re-ignited the fire for a little creativity in my food

    so
Maybe my “healthyish” food can be a little better tasting

I usually fast for 16 hours and then eat....
But I noticed in that eating window I probably eat 33% less than I would over the day..basically skipping a meal.
I've kept a steady weight with that and exercise...
also I can go probably a full day without eating and not be like "Oh my god I'm starving" and yet most people I know are 1 hour past lunch and can't focus on anything but food...I guess my body learned "hang in there, we'll eat..."
I really think it's good for your system to not always have food in your stomach.

I have a more complicated issue
I can go DAYS without eating
I don’t really ever feel hunger
And then I smoke grass for my pain
And that helps give me the munchies
But that usually turns into unhealthy over eating because not only does my body not tend to tell me I’m hungry but it doesn’t tell me I’m full til it’s uncomfortable even when I eat over a larger time period to let it “settle” through my meal

    so
I kinda need to schedule my meals out and then try my best to remember as well as force it down

    so
The better it taste the easier the process
But not feeling hungry is always the main barrier

science says it has something to do with service member’s being in sustained high stress environments for prolonged periods does major damage to our body’s system in processing hunger hormones
    Serotonin, and testosterone

so we all either under eat, over eat, chronic pain and constant exhaustion even after waking up from sleeping

    it’s a mess

    but
    D3, B12, and TRT help a ton

though TRT is currently off the menu since all the (safe) supply chains for it are toast thanks to covid

I actually found this thread by accident.
Yeah that's cool, I've been reading what you guys write.

That CRSR trade is very contrarian actually.
As fundamentals go in this market, the company actually looks cheap.

If you invest and it goes up and you have a way to live in 30 years, yahoo. If it goes to zero and the market is gone, we got way bigger issues than you have no money. :notsure:

if anyone has a friend or loved one that saw combat, they have a better idea of the true cost to our troops with regards to the mental and emotional trauma and it’s effects, than most in the general public.

with that said, thank you for the price you personally paid for the freedoms I enjoy.

Eta: I know it’s kind of cliche, but I have a good friend from high school who ceased being that same man I knew when he came home.

It only scratches the surface, but I have glimpsed the sacrifices some have made, and for that, I am truly grateful.
