trani oil change?

i have an 03 taco prerunner v6 does anybody know how to change the trany fluid i found the nut at the bottom but i donk know weather to fill it up from where the dip stick is or is there a different location i dont check it vey often but i did today and it looks a little dirty so i figure i should change it never have and it has 106000 ml

 

i would pull the pan and replace the filter with that mileage...

 

ok but do i add the trani fluid to the pan or do i poor it throught the dip stick hole should i go to the dealer ship for the filter.

 

i would get an OEM filter myself.and yes, you fill it through the dipstick.not sure how many quarts you will need,maybe somebody will chime in with the info.

 

im on the phone with the dealer and they cant find that it needs a filter wtf i dont want to buy duralst i

they said that the filter is a reusable i just have to clean it with an alcahol base cleaner rinse with water and let dry and place ban in trani

 

if you want to do that then its ok.

what about the differential fluid do you know if i can change it or do i need to take that in and is there a filter there.

 

its not really hard to do,you just need to make sure you have everything you need before you start.

 

yeah the service manual says that the filter doesn't need to be replaced.
