Does anyone know where to find skid plates for a 2012 TRD Tacoma with the red letters TRD on the skid plates, I have looked and can't find anyone who makes them?

I was hoping for a professional answer, but that tells everything I need to know about you?

Then buy the spray paint at your local automotive paint supply store or buy a 3rd Gen. The red lettered TRD skidplate is a 3rd Gen part, the 2nd Gen TRD skidplate was light grey with no lettering. This might fit but you'll probably want to search the forum to confirm. Also, it's more of a splash guard that a skidplate really. If you're planning on using get something stronger.

My understanding was the 3rd Gen skid plate fit the 2nd Gens. So that's an option as stickyTaco mentioned.

that skid will only protect the actual tin can skid from getting scratched

Cheapest way is to buy a red sharpie, and write TRD on there

I've got one with blue letters I'll post for sale soon. The oil plate is just not put on in the pic. I'm on the GA/FL Border

Not sure if this is your first forum you've ever joined but you're going to be professionally disappointed if you expect purely 'professional' answers haha. You've joined an open and free forum, centered around vehicles -there's thousands of members with thousands of personalities and a million more opinions. Your going to get humor, sarcasm, negative feedback, positive feedback and plenty of the 'professional' help you seek. If you ease off a little, you'll learn to love the process lol. Or otherwise get destroyed by those that love to troll serious personalities. Welcome!

Does this just bolt right on as a replacement for the stock splash guard? Using the same holes? I might get one. I like the way it makes your front end look.
