    I plan on taking 1 shotgun (clays/birds), a 30-06 or 243 (coyotes) and a 9mm side arm.

    I see that the webpage for the area says some shooting areas are around, anybody know these? If not (or if its super crowded) I know BLM areas elsewhere but its gonna be a little bit of a drive. I do plan on going down toward the Highline and trying to bust some quail and maybe jumpshoot some ducks at some point during the weekend if anybody else has a hunting license your more than welcome to join me.

    As visited earlier in this thread....

    Im bringing firearms because I trust my self control. If you feel you can not be around alcohol and not have the urge to use a firearm while under the influence then dont bring any. Personally I feel that it is a lot easier for somebody to drink and not use a firearm than it is to drink and keep from driving their truck/atv/whatever around the desert..... We are all big boys and girls, hopefully nobody here needs other people to regulate their actions. Dont ruin everybodys good time by being stupid :thumbsup:

    Haha, for our hunting season, we hunt "A" zone up here then do a trip out of state. We take the prime cuts from the deer, then take everything else and grind it up into sausage, mix it about 40/60 with ground pork, and stuff it.
