yeah, I think it offends the boomers pretty hard. Hahahaha.

Old guys like Buzz and Michael Collins were legit heroes to the older generations and it’s offensive to refer to these new guys as astronauts.

simply being a breathing meat sack on top or a rocket booster playing no role other than passenger, does stretch the older definition.

What's with this rich guy space race anyway? Like i get it it's probably mostly just fluff like a big dick swinging contest or companies releasing the good stuff when selling isn't going great, but like what other motive could there even be? Obviously they're doing this to their advantage at least a little more than just an ego boost. In general it's wack to me, i feel like there's plenty of stuff on the ground that is missing or could be vastly improved with these resources but instead they're usin it to muck around in space. i dun get it how just ego can take things to that level

Virgin galactic has been an initiative for a while....so i'll give that to Branson...
but for bezos...he's a giant douche (allegedly) and so it's like midlife/divorce crisis? i mean this guy wanted to build a floating island metropolis off the west coast (prob so he didn't have to pay taxes and rule over his own little kingdom). fuck that POS.

zuckerberg should've jump on board and the whole thing should've been blown up for the sake of humanity

at least James Cameron used his adventure to the depths of the mariana trench to film crazy wildlife and conduct research.

Space tourism, doesn’t make much sense to me. 200k to spend a couple minutes not really in space? Can’t sell many tickets at that price. Even if you could get it to 1k a ticket, no thanks. Now 20k for a weekend in an all inclusive moon bubble resort? Maybe :D But this is so far from that, it’s just a publicity stunt showing you can spend billions foolishly

Space tourism starts to get exciting with SpaceX and the Inspire mission in a couple months.
Now that is what I call space tourism!

on a separate note, got a chance to sample my favorite Pennsylvania food this weekend.
Cheesesteaks are def top 3 in all time regional foods.

ive had the Big 3, and lots of mom and pops places here and there in PA.
all of them are good except the ones with WHIZ.
I just can’t get behind that, over American cheese. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

eta: got to introduce the wife to them. I love blowing this woman’s mind, she thinks I’m like the food Buddha.

Yea, they can do that on all their test flights though. No need to use this nonsense to do it.

SpaceX launches payloads all the time. They could do that. I don’t give Bezos or Branson more credit beyond they did it for their own egos.

All 3 of them are on the same payroll
So I don’t put it past them at all

you don’t succeed at that level of business without signing your “deal with the devil”

there is always a bigger fish pulling the strings

Or..... they all know some sort of imminent doom is coming

    2" suspension lift/wheel spacers.
They're still wrong, unless they were referring to aggregate volume.
I have access to to time&sales data for every option trade of every stock that has options on it, the largest single trade today happened at 3:51:50 EST and that was 130 contracts on the buy side at $12.95.

Other than that, 198 went off this morning at 10:34 at $12.50
There were no other trades in excess of 30 ontracts.

And this post means what exactly?

    Hahahaah
I appreciate your well-founded insights here, but in this particular case, naaaaa.
SpaceEx has what you speak of on lockdown my brother.
And if you dig enough, they don't even hide it.

But if you really want to see something, Google this SPAC: CFV
Take a look at what the company they are acquiring can do.
Every square inch of the earth 5X/day.
And not just still-pics, it comes complete with video.
At a resolution of less than 3 feet.

AND... the price is 1/10th of, not even close tech-wise, products available today.
That means all the big corporations will be buying it. For whatever reasons.
I hear what you're saying, and one has to ask, when will it stop? When has it gone too far?
It won't, and it hasn't. Unfortunately.
    Welcome to the future.

    Too many posts didn't read.

    Let's see.

As stated this morning picked up 5 INTC AUG 20 $55 calls. Those are up a whopping 11.75%.

My 1 Roku AUG 20 $400 call is up 39%.

Not stated was the 3 ROKU July 30 $400 calls I picked up on my way out the door. Yeah, I broke my own monthly options only rule but the premium was too cheap to pass up. Those are up 55%. Premium was $15.40 and I'm already past break even. If ROKU does what I think it will do those will print over 100%.

My 4 NVDA calls converted to 16 NVDA AUG 20 $187.50. Premium converted to $9.22. So I need $196.72 for break even. The converted ATH is know $208.75 and I think it'll break that by earnings. I'm only up about 10% but there's a lot of room to run before AUG 18th.

COIN, LIACF, and GTii are still kicking me in the nuts every day. There the only losers left in the account. COIN is a long term so I'll just deal and try not to get pissed off. lol

Then there's GME. Who was joking around yesterday about @kairo ban being the catalyst? That shit was funny and if it turns out to be prophetic a lot of us are going to be laughing all the way to the bank. Literally. Except @kairo We'll have to have a group hug in 29 days. lol

So I tried to check out the issue I was having w the speakers on passenger side and naturally I couldn’t replicate the issue when I had time to fix it, so I still pulled it out and the connector for positive was attached, but had some wiggle. Used pliers to squeeze it down a little and hopefully it helps, but those little connectors once they get loose enough don’t squeeze back the same. If the issue persists may have to just strip the wire and crimp a new connector onto it.

I am putting more money into my play account because I want to be able to buy some calls and puts on the bigger name tickers. I’ve been able to predict the movement on those better in paper trades. Messing around with the 50$ calls and stuff only put me down worse. I know That’s probably not the smartest thing to do but you live and you learn
