I’m close enough in southwest Connecticut. My step-brother is in Jericho. He like to wheel, but alas he has a Rubicon.

We've decided to change the scenery for the moment, and because of that I'm towing a camper with my 3rd gen.
Have to say that towing on 33s without a regear sucks. Yes, the little 3.5 tries really really hard, but watching trans temp skyrocket whenever it's in 3rd gear makes me queezy.
Anyways, mid west is what it is, but western Co is beautiful! Seeing snow covered mountaintops in 104° weather is surreal!!

Due to how much rain there has been it's probably best for the road if we postpone next week's trip till things dry out.

sorry for not touching base earlier.
I’ve been following water levels and went fishing this weekend to also scout the Hudson levels. Currently not safe to float with any plan to leave a raft/canoe.
I stopped at the warrensburg bridge/canoe launch and waded out waist deep. With the speed of the water, I wouldn’t feel safe diving left alone visibility allowing you see anything on the bottom.
Secondly there is nowhere to beach a boat with the water levels. I will keep an eye on water levels but it needs another 2 weeks without significant rain and the schroon dam being opened less often.

On a side I found a beautiful section of the Hudson River I hiked into and caught my first brown from.
