What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Is it possible to update the splash image on 2021 OEM head units? I have a fruitcakey boot image that would be cool to see again.

 

Looks nice! I like how they are lightweight like the SCS F5, but a lot easier to get. Did you go with the 110 Hub Bore?

 

The list price for my UnderCover Flex was $893 but I got a great deal during Amazon Prime days. There is an UnderCover Ultra Flex that is $1009 that had some nice features but I really did not need them and also the BakFlip MX4 that was $989. Between my friend having a Flex for 9 years with no issues and the deal I got on mine it was an easy choice for me.

I agree about losing access to a third of the bed and really wanted to avoid that or having to remove it for the extra space. I also considered a rolling cover but I saw the space that one consumed in another Tacoma and decided against it too. I have opened that third section plenty of times so far and I am glad I’m able to.

I went with CBI Offroad. These are their Tacoma Trail Bolt-On Sliders https://cbioffroadfab.com/product/toyota-tacoma-trail-bolt-on-rock-sliders-2016-current/ I got the one for the DCLB with kick-outs.

 

Finally finished the chrome delete. Super easy install, worth every cent! Now time to do the inside…

 

Lamin X in fogs with VLeds Xtremes. Used to be in my low beams prior to full OEM led upgrade.
Took like 10 mins. I’ve removed the bezel prior to wet install.

 

That sure is a shiny chrome hitch

 

The extremes are the way to go, I was messing around aiming my fogs against the garage door and they overpowered the headlights, a lot.

 

I realized after I posted it the hitch was there and knew someone would point it out lol

Not cheap but really high quality and have a lot of extra places to tap power off of or ground to. They made it a lot cleaner doing my aux buss, aux battery, solar, yada.

 

Installed a set of Cali Raised Rock Sliders today.

 

Should I get Ditch Lights / brackets or the TRD Pro Grill Insert first? Decisions decisions!
