    I just finished the final step in making my interior a magical blue forest- swapping the gauge cluster bulbs to blue LEDs. It was a long and messy process but totally worth it.

    Over the weekend I cleaned up my engine bay and dropped the engine back in Sunday evening. Looks a lot cleaner than it did before. Yesterday I picked up my trans that I had rebuilt and will hopefully have it in this weekend. With any luck, I’ll be driving this thing next month.

    $1300 for a bench build and has a 12 month warranty. It had 327k miles on it and it previously had the infamous ‘pink milkshake’ due to the OEM transmission cooler failing. I put an external cooler on it after that happened and it’s held up okay, but it definitely needed a rebuild.
