Funny thing is I have lived here for almost 30years and had no idea they were there. I used them to transfer my last lower. Great guys to deal with and they don't try to oversell you. I will deffinately be going to them for a suppressor and they are literally about 3 miles from me.

I wouldn’t have known about them if it wasn’t for Silencershop, I wish I had been in there more than once. I love that it’s in his basement.

IDk how they were then but with Covid they are appointment only now. I am going through the mental debate now about suppressors. They suggested i get two seperate ones. One for the 9mm and one for the 556's. I understand the idea that it would be best to have dedicated supressors per caliber but I am thnking get one for the 9mm and I could use it on both. As funding allowed perhaps pick up a seperate one for the Ar's later.

I have a rimfire can and the griffin Optimus, with those two I can cover every caliber from .22-.300 win mag and 9mm. The only reasons I’m getting the resonator K is I want my bedside SBR to be shorter and I like to spend money.

Man that post last night was foreshadowing…

Started the process on a Osprey 45 and Osprey Micro because I just couldn’t say no at the prices they were offered to me at.

I love my Osprey 45. Very versatile to swap between different platforms/calibers.

I’ve only heard good things, and considering after tax and tax stamp I’m paying just under $800 I think I’ll be really happy with it.
Now I need to get a 1911 with a threaded barrel.

Or just get a threaded barrel for a 1911 you already own. I put a threaded Ed Brown in one of my 1911's. Love it.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
Signed up for a defensive handgun (range) course. Hopefully not cancelled like the last one. I took their classroom course last fall, hoping to complete it. Great guys and a good course. Either I'll be out $200, 8 hrs and 250 rds, or I'll be disappointed. Hopefully the former :fingerscrossed:

I got an Osprey 45 shortly after they came out. Still one of my favorites. Very versatile, does a great job on my 300blk Encore SBR, super light.

I got mine specifically for use on my 300 blk for hog hunting but picked the Osprey so I could also use it on 1911s and 9mm platforms. So far I haven't outfitted any 9mm guns with a threaded barrel but am assembling the parts to build a pistol length AR in 300 blk for times when I don't want to tote the rifle length one through tangled swampy stuff.

It’s probably considered blasphemy as I have a small collection (over 30) but I don’t own a 1911, we have a silent operator at work that’s really nice, but I’m not about to drop 1800 on a 1911 at this stage of my life.

In my humble opinion the best way to pop your 1911 cherry and not break the bank would be a Ruger SR1911. For fit, finish and reliability they simply can't be beat at thier price point and are hard to beat at twice the price. For years before Ruger actually started building thier own 1911's they made 1911 frames and slides for Caspian. When they decided to build thier own 1911's they already had the tooling, knowledge and processes to make high quality guns but didn't have to invest a lot of development or tooling money. End result, they could put out a great quality 1911 at an affordable price. Throw on a threaded Ed Brown barrel and your into a very nice suppressor capable 1911 for under $1000. Just to wet your whistle, here's my setup.

    Much love this.

I bought a Dan Wesson just before the coof his. Wasn't cheap, but man does that pistol shoot like a dream. Really shows you where your money goes on firearms like that.
