    It was definitely a bit eye opening just driving home to the Seattle area. Seemed like least once an hour I'd see a convoy of fire fighters headed off to wherever they are needed. Going to be a long season for them

    For those that have stayed at my brothers place in Mazama, just a heads up, the house is danger right now from the cedar creek fire. Also the nearby town of Winthrop, where my sister lives, is threatened by the cub creek fire. Anxious times right now.

    It jumped the ridge line last night and started towards the highway. You could actually see flames. So far a slight wind shift has kept it way. :fingerscrossed:
