Love your setup man, will definitely get the STT pro’s. Those look in the ballpark of 285s right?

Curious about why you waited, was it because you had a cover already?
I don’t have a cover yet and I was thinking of grabbing a mat as well; I’m in this weird place I have neither and does one need both?

Mounted some "good enough for now" grab-handles to the roof rack and and with the money I saved on handles...a Mountain Hatch.

Thanks, I appreciate it. That’s great advice and I really just got lucky that my friend had one and was able to show me how much of a difference it makes before I bought one. Hopefully I can pass that along to help people with their research.

Traded in the white SR 2x4 for the silver TRD OR 4x4. Couldn’t be more stoked. Let the mods begin.

I bought my cover right after I bought my truck since my boys decided we were going to take it on a road trip we had planned two weeks later. I’m glad that we did because it made a big trip even more of an event to them. Between my UnderCover Flex and running the drain lines through the factory drain holes with the barbed fittings the bed was going to stay pretty dry and be secure.

I’m glad I got the mat before the trip too since it sits on the top of the grooves in the bed it keeps my gear nice and dry above the little bit of water that may end up in the grooves in the bed before it drains out. Between that and keeping things from sliding around I am very happy that I have both. That and I think the mat looks cool in the bed so that has to count for something too.

I will say that I needed the cover and wanted the mat and I am glad that I have both of them.

I have ditch lights. I use em once a year. I look at my grill every day and am happy I switched it out. My $.02. Yes, my truck is mostly a pavement princess

I also waited way to long to upgrade the grill and kick myself for not doing it sooner

Used it as a truck yesterday

So the DFW area Snowmageddon we had took out the 42 year old Ash tree in front of our house as it never came back. Then sucker branches started spouting all over it with the majority at the bottom on the street side. Code says the trees must be trimmed to no lower than 13' for the Fire Trucks to pass under them. Had to stand on toolbox in the truck to reach some higher limbs but it got trimmed. $1250 to remove the dead tree now or wait until Fall for a much better price. We can wait.....Code is OK for the moment.

I bought the cover to keep the weather out when I carry my work equipment and to prevent theft. I always strapped everything down to prevent it from sliding around.

Sometimes stuff would slide to the back of the bed and with the bed cover it gets really annoying to half climb in to reach that stuff.

Since I put the mat in my equipment doesn’t slide anywhere. It was well worth the money.
