Would the clockspring keep the “CRUISE” light from coming on? I know the wheel position sensor does…

wow, what an easy fix and crap on their part for not bothering to do that from the get go. Makes my blood boil.

It could, the clockspring is a multi conductor cable and it's possible only one of the conductors is bad.

True story - I was washing my wife's SUV and noticed an "abrasion" on her rear bumper. I mentioned to her that it looked like someone must have bumped into your car while parked. She replied, "no, I back into a pole when leaving the post office."
WHAT??? You have a backup camera and sensors that beep when getting close to something and you still hit a pole.

And she wonders why I never-ever let her drive my truck.

I use mirrors and backup camera all the time since that's how I park in the garage or any parking lot. I have both front and rear cameras and find them necessary in a DCLB with a scoop and softopper. I can get within a few inches from another vehicle's bumper and I doubt that's possible eyeballing it.
OP, I bought a mastertailgater handle that came with a camera off Amazon and I re-installed that camera in my pop-n-lock handle. Works great. It's weird that I have more trouble parking head first now so I avoid doing it.

Forgot to mention that last Saturday, I saw a movie in a movie theater for the first time in a year and a half!

The last time I was in a movie theater was February 2020; I saw 1917 with my parents at the Regal Warrington.

I was gonna go see Onward with my friend Greg at the AMC 309 sometime in early March 2020, but that was when COVID was really starting to ramp up and my parents talked me out of it (ended up seeing Onward with my best friend John at his apartment in the summer of 2020, via Disney+). Last Saturday, my friend Mike and I went to see Black Widow at the newly renovated Regal Warrington; Neither of us were wearing a mask!

There was this hilarious exchange between the Red Guardian and Florence Pugh’s character in Black Widow where he asked her if all her aggression was the result of her having her period; If you know anything about Black Widows, you probably know that they all have an involuntary hysterectomy when their training is complete…

As of right now, the backup camera is working good, but the cruise control still is not…

I forget whether the factory scooped hoods came on the TRD Off-Road or were exclusive to the TRD Sport, but I would kinda like one for my truck; I would prefer that it’s in Silver Streak Mica so I don’t have to get it repainted. Does anybody have one or know where I can find one?

they were exclusive to the TRD Sport, not the offroad. The X-Runner came with it as well.
    good luck

Cheapest thing to do is buy a aftermarket one ready to paint like off of ebay. Some sellers are local and offer pick up. Then buy the factory plastic bezel that goes in the scoop, transfer over all hardware. Pretty rare to find them used factory.
