Thanks! It is pretty crazy how light they are compared to the stock OR wheels. They are only offering the 110 hub bore option now. With the hub centric ring they drive great. Just wish I could use the Summit center cap that all their other models can accommodate. Oh well!

To me; I find it’s what you buy for ditch lights and brackets that’s going to dictate how often you use them. If you buy low profile brackets and small pods then point them directly at the ground you’ll probably hardly ever use them, in fact I have no idea why people do this but I live in a small hilly area and there’s nothing exposed around here for wheeling as far as I know. So to me I have no use for a light like that and if I did I’d just turn on my puddles or invest in rocks lights.

I however bought a taller ditch light bracket (I’d say it sits about 2.5 to 3” above my hood), and a larger set of pods. My intentions are to light up the ditches on our wide roads at high speeds and be able to see moose and deer from a greater distance in front of me than what my high beams provide. I went with a Rigid D-SS pro series in a spot beam pattern. Being a side shooter and the fact they’re mounted up high these things light up from the edge of my mirrors all the way forward and past the edge of my high beams.

Two weeks ago we went on a camping trip to the northern part of the Appalachian range, we had to leave at like 6pm on a Friday which meant doing the last part of a 4.5 hour drive in moose country in the dark. With the ditch lights on we spotted 4 down in the ditches and got saved from 1 standing in the middle of the road in a blind corner, although he was on my side and in the blind spot of my A pillar the GF seen him coming thanks to the wide angle of the side shooter spot beam and we got the truck slowed down in plenty of time.

just my .02 cents, but again it’s gonna come down to where you live and what you use them for.

    Looks freaking beastly. Well done!

I've been contemplating moving to this same tire size when my current 285/75/16s wear out (will also be looking to get new wheels at that same time). So seeing these photos is very helpful.

I also noticed we live in the same city. I'll keep an eye out for your rig around town

Finally got around to installing the TRD PRO Grille on the TACO and upgraded the front-facing camera as well. I get a better view in low light with this camera. Also went with the Falken
265/70R17. I am now out of mods :(

I've got low profile brackets with BD S1 pods, and i use them daily (mostly for deer/bunny avoidance). Hell I use them so much I'm thinking of moving the switch from the dash to the shifter or just slaving them to the high beam relay

Has anyone with tint for 1+ year had any issues with peeling near the frit on windshield/access cab windows?

It'd be cool if tint could hang on to that (/smooth it out), which'd allow the dash cam could move up a few inches.

Added these TRD stickers to the headlights. They look good at night.

I went with these and as far as led colour they’re white. I have amber covers for crap weather but they cut output in half. I’ve now acquired a dual colour light bar and the white side of it fills the Center between the ditch lights very well and shoots father, much farther than my high beams. And the amber half of it has a lot more output than the side shooters with covers on but not the ditch coverage they have, I further plan on adding a set of amber driving pods to the bumper which won’t get as down into the ditches as the actual ditch lights but at least all have more light heading over that way. So I have the light bar + pods in amber as well as the ditch lights with amber covers if I’m really worried about their being deer in a snow storm but I’m not.

If anyone’s reading all that and thinking or wondering does a person really need all that lighting for a moose or deer?? The answer is yes, up here in moose country we certainly do! Their big ass animals but their coats are oily and absorb light instead of reflecting it, their eyes do t reflect light like a deer’s either. This was in the early hours of the morning in a 10km long straight away.

Well, what I didn’t do to my Tacoma was get it scheduled for an oil change. They are 2 weeks out, for an oil change. WTF. Dealership said they are low on staff and mechanics, and if I did come in and wait on it I may wait for hours as the wait times are super long. DIY this coming weekend then. I’m at 30,000 miles almost
