    Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
    Bolt torque is based primarily on diameter and metallurgy of the bolt, but also on application. This is why one comes across such similar values across a broad range of applications.
    With that in mind, and not knowing precisely what the listed spec is:
    90 ft-lbs should be fine. I would venture to guess 120 ft-lbs would work, too.
    If you plan on using it for actual recovery you want to put some blue thread locker on there. You may even want to just hit it with an air gun set on 80% (very roughly about 120 ft-lbs, +/- 40 ft-lbs) and call it good.

    It allows you to use a 3/4 inch shackle for recovery/style. Its also beefier then the OEM version. What version Tacoma do you have?

    So you would have a hook in place. Some people prefer closed systems for recovery.
