So there was an OEM shim pre-installed at the bottom of my stock leaf pack...did not expect that/also cannot get it off, so I'm gonna go ahead and - not - use it on the new Icon pack. Quick search and a couple people have found them in their trucks too.

I tried prying it off, either it's seized to the leaf or somehow adhered to the bottom leaf...

Now I wish I had a set of new shims. I guess I'll have to install and see if I vibrate, then order and reinstall

Alright so this is definitely part of the pin assembly, I've pryed it to the point of fuckery just to see, I can spin it and the bolt moves with it.

I guess whether I want to or not, gotta install without shims and go from there!

Checking my stuff now and the files. I'll let you know soon if I can print it and if I can get it ready to deliver for the Meet on Saturday.

That Fusion360 file. It's only a 2D blueprint. Is there a way for you to make it 3D? I have no clue what height you want all of this to be at.

I didn't use anything from the existing overload or bottom shims. Now, I will say that I got 0 lift out of the pack but I have a 2017 so my existing leafs may be stressed

Can it be trimmed later on? It’s just for aligning the space where I would need to cut in the transmission. That’s all it does.

Oh, It's literally just a flat piece used for measuring and guiding? Literally just a template.
I can just make it all solid so that you can sand it down however you want and I can make it a few cm thick or something so that it's flat.

I didn't actually notice that tapered shim until reading about it a week ago lol. If you want, you can loosen the nut on the center pin with an impact and disassemble the OEM leaf pack to get at the shims. Put a couple of C-clamps on the pack to keep it together. You're probably ok without it though. I run the RXT leafs at max config, getting 4" of rear lift, and no vibes.

I didn’t notice any shims on my 2020 OEM pack when I took them off a few weeks ago. Might have been something Toyota installed on the first few years of the 3rd Gen model???

I left it as a Fusion 360 file since different printers will require different file types. Fusion 360 is free for personal use, so you should be able to download that file into Fusion 360 and export into whatever file type you need.

Maybe I'll add some other file types in that google drive link to make it easier for everyone - do you know what type you need? Most common is STL I think...

I already got it exported as STL.
The only issue I had was what kind of thickness it should be set as because it was just a 2D blueprint.

My RXT's are set to stage1 and no shims required.

Like you I had the 1deg shim in my factory pack. (I see it on a lot of stock Tacomas but since it is so small and gen covered in crap most don't notice it.)
So I'd try it first without the shim.

I also picked up 2deg shims in case I needed them when I bought the leaf pack,
turns out I didn't need those either.

Don't forget on the drivers side,
to switch the bolt around for the front leaf pack clamp, that sits near the gas tank, you want the head on the inside and the threads pointed out so it won't rub on the gas tank.

There are two hole sizes. I setup two different models to account for that.
The thickness itself is 1cm. I set the layers to 0.12mm. (Increased the amount of layers to make it stronger and they are completely filled in solid.)
Norilsk, do you want what is in the picture as two of each or do you want one of each?
Is the thickness good or do you want it thicker?

Whatever you think would work best to sand down later on. Here is how it’s used.
