I'm looking at Cali Raised bolt-on, actually. Raw, kickout. I have bed liner I can paint them with. No fill plate needed here

Those looked nice too. I’ll have a full plate on mine and will paint it myself. The plan is to use zinc chromate primer (aircraft grade) and bedliner spray.

Do you think the bedliner would be less likely to chip off it it were directly on the metal? Or do you think the zinc primer is necessary?

Millersville. Wife and I are unfortunately doing the split commute. She's working in Baltimore M-F and some weekends, I'm working in DC, but only in the office 1-3 days per week.

Im not sure about it really. I guess it depends on the bedliner instructions as well.

I think hitting rocks on the trail will get you down to bare metal no matter what, the primer might help with rock chips from the road you might not normally check for and prevent rust.
If you hit a rock on the trail, you’ll definitely look, inspect, assess and repaint if necessary. I’m lazy and probably won’t do it unless know I need too lol

Not sure, no one was there to ask. But looking at how small the exhaust is, I'd say no.

    Question for anyone who knows:

    3rd gen Taco

Under the front bumper, there are two hex head screws that hold the plastic to the frame. Does anyone know the size, diameter, etc? I broke one and need a nee, but haven't been able to get under my truck for a bit.

    Specifically these guys:
