    it won't let me select any of the older files. the 04B42 file is the only file it will allow me to select from when in VFTuner. I noticed the file types are different...

    That is what I was thinking.

    I don't recall seeing a V with the VFC files. Time to ask, I suppose, as it seems to block the TSB updates.

    It's gotta be a maggy thing. Both my old maggy tune and my new maggy tune start with V, but nothing else does.

    Well not specifically a Maggy thing but like Tony mentioned, probably a combination of files being locked and maybe made in Pro too.

    My turbo tunes from Mat have that V

    This process worked btw. Flashed the file in the program files provided with the VF software, then pushed the TSB 04B42 via the .CUW file listed in the OP. Then pushed the new maggy tune file. Just finishing up the clean-up and reset functions and I'll be done.

    Just an update here. It was said that the leading V is simply due to the use of an EROM Patch in the tune file. So, it does not indicate a locked file.

    Very interesting.
