looks like it was more drama in the "LOOKIE WHAT I DO 3rGen edition" thread and Mods said fuck it.

OVT has it's own forum now to answer questions from what i can gather. the tune isn't banned, the Mods were sick and tired from the drama queens and figured the best way to dump the load is to purge the Q&A thread.

I'll let him speak for himself, but I think he is a "dealer" for OVTune products (i.e. he bought he kit that lets him be a business)

OVTune appears to have stopped development after 2.0, and they released the VFTuner tools that everyone else use to develop new tunes. OV 2.0 isn't much better than the stock tune on 2020+ trucks like yours. After reading more about the newer KDMax tune, that's the one I got @dave82at to flash onto my truck.

 

1" block gives 1" of lift and doesn't make the suspension any stiffer. When you haul a load, the rear will drop the same delta amount as your current config.

Overload gives a minimal lift equal to the thickness of the leaf (~0.3"). It acts as a very sharply progressive rate spring. When you haul a load that is normally enough to send your leaf pack into negative arch, the overload leaf engages to stiffen the ride.

 

I thought they only did that in Quebec, when the language police come in for inspection?

No worries - no need to hide. The ban didn't apply to tuners. I am a tuner using the software - that's about it.

I will be down for KDmax the next time you do the closest meet to downtown Toronto - missed the most recent 4WP one.

Question...are you able to flash to the latest TSB's? Is it even necessary if we're going to go to KDmax anyways? Don't know if they work in conjunction or if it overwrites everything anyways.
