@PapaRee I plan to get slightly bigger tires (32in) and wonder if I should bump up to the 33in tune or stay at the 31in (stock). Is there any different between the tire settings for the tunes in terms of performance, I know it won't help the speedo. Thanks!

From a dig, in a straight line, without power braking? My truck doesn't even come close to breaking them loose in this scenario. Torqueless wonder of a motor. My 2nd gen would struggle on any morning dew road, and even in the wet I really have to struggle to get a TCS blink with this new truck. 265/75/16 Wildpeaks, FWIW

With all the recent software improvements and recent Pro Tuner upgrades, Dave and I have decided to increase the price for the tune files going forward.
We are also making all new VFC tune files from scratch with the new software to make sure there are no problems with flashing all trucks with our KDMax tune.

    From the first post:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Pricing
-For people who already bought the Kruiser, the KDMAX is $100 US per TunePack
-For people who have not bought the Kruiser, the KDMax is $150 US per TunePack
-For those wanting us to tune their trucks, contact the person in your area for pricing.

Kreg, any reason we would need/want to change file formats and reflash with .vfc if we’re already KDMaxxed.vft and all is well?

All of the files that were sold (vft and vfc) were made on the correct software. You should be fine.
But if you have vft and want vfc for the new software, just PM me.
I am currently working on making all new files using the most up to date software. Just to be sure that they flash well with the new software/flasher.
I should have all of them complete in a week.

I am going through all the tunes to make new vfc files with the new software. While doing that, I am looking at all the changes to find ways to make it better.

Every driver expects something different from their truck. So the best way to get a “better” tune is to tell me what you want.

Kreg, the custom tune you made for my truck needs no improvement from my perspective. I would only be looking for the 8 way map switching to be incorporated into my tune when it’s released. Keep up the great work.

As of now kdmax 6.0 is my go to performance tune and when I'm dd I'm on @TermLimits vr. What would be sweet is have the ability to switch tunes on the fly or even have your tune for ect and vr for normal mode

    Hello all,

Got KDMax about 5,000 miles ago. Thoroughly enjoyed it so far. Used all 8 of the files (normal, slt, lt, wife) across reg and premium.

The only issue I have had is a heavy foot on the normal tune in Florida summer rain. Tends to loosen up a bit off the line, which is my fault because I tend to lean on the pedal pretty hard.

Most of the issues I have had with the truck going to a low gear and not changing back to high gear (AT) are corrected. Only time it isn't is when the downhill is a slight grade. Not sure there is much I can do there. I live on Merritt Island FL, the biggest hill I usually reach is a bridge in the way to work in Orlando.

Great job on the tunes. Thank you for your time and hard work KDMax team. If you need a tester in the future let me know.
