I picked up a 261-cm to replace a horrid husqvarna a couple months back. It's the best damn saw I've ever used. If you can afford it, the pro line is epic.

Thanks! I swear these seats got so much more comfortable than they were with the cloth. Only thing im concerned with now is keeping the leather as healthy as possible for as long as possible.

In case anyone is wondering they charged $259 to swap tires and sensors to my new wheels. I almost passed out

Those look really good! Best looking seat covers I've seen installed yet. Do they replace the factory cover (like Katzkins), or do they go over the top of them (like Clazzios)?. Do you mind if I ask what you spent total, including the install?

All I did today was put in an online credit application with my dealership so I can see how what they offer can compare to what my credit union has told me. Nothing fun, just necessary.

Most dealers will at least match the rate from your credit union. Tell them you'd be happy to finance through them instead if they could offer a better rate. I usually dangle that out there as part of the negotiation.

I may have mentioned in the comments on the online form that I had an application in with the CU but wanted to see what they could offer. I should be in a good position, but first time ever getting a new vehicle has me on edge about everything.

OMG! Discount tire took less than 1 hr total to do mine. What in hell cost $259? Shop time should be no more than $125/hr I would think, and that's probably on the high side.

Good luck with it! It's nerve-wracking. Just make sure you know all the numbers before you walk into the dealership. I usually do an appointment, too, just so they know you're serious.

I'm waiting for the truck to get delivered. CU wants a purchase agreement before signing off on the loan, and it seems like the dealership is waiting for the truck to be on premises before doing that. Delivery window is 8 days starting next Monday. I'm putting a pretty good size down payment on it, so hopefully that helps with things too. Never gotten anything newer than 10 years old before.

Thanks a lot! I did a lot of research on covers and found that LeatherSeats.com really seemed to be the top. The vendor went as far as following up with me through email and a call, after i ordered, and ended up sending me thread examples and leather swatches (of what i chose plus other near colors) to make sure my color choices were as i wanted them to be. They offer the following options priced at a Double Cab (* Next to what i selected for my kit):
    • 100% Vinyl Interior Kit - $799
    • Deluxe Leather Trimmed Interior Kit - $899 (front: leather body with vinyl back and sides, back: leather inserts with vinyl upper body, head, back, and sides)
    • Premium Leather Trimmed Interior Kit - $1099 (front: leather body with vinyl back and sides, back: leather faces with vinyl head, back, sides)
    • 100% Leather Interior Kit - $1499 (100% leather throughout) *
    Up-Charges:
    • Two Tone - $50 * (body)
      • Ecstasy Leather (Primary Color) - $500 * (black)
      • Ecstasy Leather (Secondary Color) - $ 0 * (charcoal)
      • Exotic Vinyl (Secondary Color) - $ 100
      • Synthetic Suede (Secondary Color) - $ 100
      • Exotic Leather (Secondary Color) - $ 200
      • Piazza Perforation (Secondary Color) - $ 150
    • Leather Perforation - $175 * (body)
    • Contrast Double Stitching - $40 * (charcoal)
    • Piping - $100

My kit ended up coming int at $2,114 USD (+ $118.38 in tax @5.6%) and the install was $900.00 (consistently quoted from 5 custom interior shops where i live).

They also offer pre-built kits with some minor alteration options starting at $1399: https://leatherseats.com/shop/speci...toyota-tacoma-doublecab-black-piazzagrey-pkg/

The cloth body of the seats was removed, and then the head rest covers is cut, vacuum packed, the leather is pulled over, and then the vacuum released and plastic taken out. Pretty involved process all in all, so i can understand the installation cost. Even the upholstery shop said that these ended up coming out the best they have ever seen, and they've done A LOT of Katzkins installs.

    Hopefully this info helps!
