Anyone every "ordered" a manual pro and never got it?

I couldn't find the exact post but I think I read somewhere that Toyota only makes about less than 500 manual TRD Pros per year

and with Toyota there's no real custom order, it's all Toyota producing what they want.

Has anyone ever experienced "ordering" a manual pro in the past and Toyota never built or sent to the dealer?

Just dropped a deposit on the lime taco manual, trying to see if I should get my hopes up or not...

I hope you get what you put down for. I posted a similar event and they sold my cement taco to someone else. It was just a regular trd sport, too.

 

Not a pro, but my buddy ordered this MT beauty about 3 months ago. He just got it last week.

 

Does your dealer typically recieve any MT Pros through the year? If yes, and you're this early, I would expect you to get your truck.

As an anecdote.... My dealer sees just two or three Pros in a year. They haven't had an MT Pro in a couple years. They were still able to, eventually, get me an allocation for an MT Lunar Rock Pro.

You are early and I imagine most Pro owners dont want to be bothered with having to do something beneath them like pushing a clutch in and moving the shifter around like a peasant.

 

dang, that sucks, but they should still try to find you another one in their incoming pipeline

 

3 months not bad at all, army green looks macho and badass on the taco

 

not sure about MT pro, but they definitely got a couple of lunar rock tacos last year. So hopefully they can pull it off

 

true, the dealer told me there are 4 others already put down a deposit on automatic lime taco, I'm just the first in line for the manual one.
Currently as dealer can't really request 2022, I think it's just them taking money and place customer in a queue internally
