I kind of regret selling my 3rd gen I see it from time to time and miss the fun I had in it. but At the end of the day I love my second gen more and I’ll love it till the wheels fall off. 24B50198-0F4F-4049-B5EC-BE9967346409.jpg CB2D76C6-5F5C-464C-AC24-740560690B1F.jpg

I don’t regret it but I miss driving my 03 ac cab trd 5 speed manual. It had ivan stewart racing rims and a nice stereo.I always think maybe some one in the 1st gen section is driving it. But my 2nd gen 2010 is a far better truck and I wouldn’t even think about trading it in …just wish it was a manual

Same here. It will be tight for a couple years. Then it will be fine.

Be patient. YOU made the right decision for the family.

Trucks will be made in the future. Soon #2 will arrive, then just a blink of time you'll be hauling kids to band, soccer, baseball, dance, school,......
Then a 2nd ride will be needed because each kid needs to be at different sides of town at the same time.

How do you like the Highlander?

I'm currently in the same predicament as you were, except I have an AC so it reaaaaally won't work with kids. #1 is coming in November. Debating a current 4runner limited or waiting it out as long as i can to see what comes of the 6th gen.

I'm a performance guy at heart, have owned/sold many modified Mustangs over the years andI have regretted selling each one. I am currently looking for a well taken care of 94/95 Cobra to start that process over again.

I honestly dont see how people live normal lives without A truck. I had an 08 access cab and then went to a 2015 double cab for the extra seat room. No way I'd give up my truck. And my wife wouldn't want me to. She has me use it to get stuff her way to often. Its always flowers, mulch building supplies, etc. There is always a project going on at our house. And I have a utility trailer when I have to get a lot of stuff. We also have a Honda pilot. The trailer with and suv is no where near as convenient as a truck bed.

We rock my Tacoma and my wife’s VW Atlas. Mine has been paid off for ever and hers is brand new. I’m happy to keep driving mine for another 10-15 years.

We had our first kid last year so we sold our Mustang GT in December and when I went back to the office we picked up the Atlas this May.

I have a work truck but it’s a work truck not a “use it for personal stuff” truck.

I really miss my 2008, but with the arrival of kid # 4, you physically can't fit six people in the cab of a Tacoma.

Sold my 2nd gen almost 2 years ago. I’m happy with my GX but I do miss it sometimes. What I really have been chasing though is the right 4Runner. I was lined up to buy a pristine 3rd gen back in college and missed out. Probably would’ve had it to this day instead of the 2nd gen if things had worked out. Anyway, suv fits 90% of my use nowadays. And the 2uzfe in the GX is a lot more fun to drive in a midsize than the 4.0.

My brother has the last gen Sequoia and I really like it... however, I just don't know if I can get behind the newest Gen Sequoia styling. I've seen some all done up that look good but any normal trim i'm still meh about. That could change, may grow on me. So ya, good point bringing up the Sequoia.

I am in the process of selling a Corvette and I fully expect to have similar feelings while reminiscing the good old days. But I've had it 8 years, it is time for a new owner.
I will keep the Tacoma until the wheels fall off.
