    Sure, I’d like a swap and would probably throw in some cash for the travel/time… but that’s just nuts.

    Yeah I know sounds crazy, but if I buy one and paint it probably won’t hold near as good as oem paint. Plus I’ve done the math and will spend about 1200-1400 after it’s all set and done.

    What’s to stop us from buying hoods straight from Toyota? Like if I have a neighbor with a sport hood same color can he go order one for me? Anyone know what that would cost, I probably don’t want to know…

    Hey thanks for linking that post!! I appreciate it I was really hoping it would be less parts than that and more straight forward. However I may undertake this endeavor. Seems like it would be faster and easier to do it myself then hope for a trade plus cash. Half my brain thinks this is dumb to do for something purely aesthetic, the other half is trying desperately to turn off that reasonable thought.
