We have offices/employees in the UK and Hong Kong as well so I think it's just there to indicate which country I'm employed in

I'm not as good about it as I should be, but when you have consistent alignment issues that result in expensive tires wearing out under 20k miles, it motivates you to rotate them a little more

Sure hope he has good insurance. I've heard about some quarter of a million dollar hospital doctor bills when an ICU stay is required.

One of my cousin's stepson said: "I don't need no damn insurance or shots" Then he spent 15 days in ICU and another 20 in the hospital.

That would absolutely motivate me, you are correct

I'm finally to a point in my life where I won't be skimming junkyards for used tires so I should start caring more lol

Meh, I wouldn't say I use expensive oil. Castrol GTX high mileage and I swap it out every 5k. I'm just at 5030m as I haven't done it yet and I was mostly making a dig at myself for not changing it yet

That's a synthetic, that's all I was getting at. You really can let the synthetics be used a lot longer.

Well that makes me feel alot better, I was being gun shy cause my wife gets frantic when she doesn't get her oil changed every 3k even though she uses the same type of oil. She's an amazingly adept gearhead but some of her info is antiquated because she learned what she knows from oldheads in her family that were very set in their ways

Well Toyota Tacoma has a 5k oil change interval recommendation from Toyota with dino oils anyway, i usually do the LC with synth at 10k.

Packing and more packing. I'll be glad when we hit the road at 5:00 AM Saturday morning. I want to be in Silverton by Sunday afternoon at 3:00 PM. Will make a rest stop around ABQ.

My 2.7 sees 3k mi yearly.
    Non E 89 gas
Mobil 1 extended life 10w30 synthetic
28 to 30 months between oil changes at 7k mi.
    150k on engine
Oil level doesn't change and comes out only a slight bit darker than it went in fresh.
What am I doing wrong ?

Leaving the oil in too long lol, sounds like you need to drive more

And wasting money on gasoline that's without e and has excessive octane for the application

I usually do synth changes around 5 - 6k...gets pretty dark by then. Might be due to the boost/7th, IDK. Should probably send off a sample to get tested one of these days

Dark ain't a bad thing, means the oil is removing shit. Doesn't mean it's used up either.
