U can get an aftermarket boot that can be installed without pulling the axle. It's like two halves

Having just messed with my left side twice for the bushing, you don't need much.

    Jackstands
Torque wrench that goes to about 180ft-lbs
35mm socket for the axle nut
17mm or 19mm socket for the ball joint bolts
Hammer and screwdriver to pound out the CV out and back in
Cotter pin if you don't want to reuse the old one
    BFH and a dead-blow hammer

Also, a dull chisel will get the dust cap off easier than a screwdriver.

You probably don't need the diff seal since you're so new. Just be be careful.

See the service manual link in my signature for torque values.

No. Just rotate the knuckle forward and rest it on a jackstand. If you need space, the bump stop is easy to remove.

I had a hell of a time pulling my CV earlier this year and ended up having to get some cable and a big f-ing sledge hammer to yank it out.

If this is your first time replacing a CV shaft, check out this video.

I like to suspend the rotor with heavy wire instead of resting it on jack stands, but the video will give you the general idea.
