I was just joking fellas. I never pour concrete without the subgrade passing moisture/density testing. Only time we don't test is when pouring on undisturbed, IF the geotech report states an open hole inspection is acceptable.

FOR SALE - Foam mattress or rather, a 3" thick pc of foam that was the stock mattress in our Canopy Camper. Measures 81.5" x 48" x 3". We never even tried it in terms of sleeping on it but most reviews were that it was firm & we like soft.

There is also a washable cover you can have for it as well, but my brat of a nephew spilled something on it I haven't been able to get the stain out, though I didn't try very hard.

    Make me an offer.

as @johntoyota said - Nah. You just bought a structural foundation engineers' pre-canned fix for people with 100 yr old homes that have foundation issues. Their fix is based on USGS soils records and maybe a few local soils core logs and some fundamental structural/soils engineering concepts. They "stamp" it and you pay. Actually the way it works with licensed firms and or individuals.

100 year old houses are done settling. Now he needs to deal with his 100 year old concrete or gray stuff as @literallynothing calls it.

I've seen lots of Concrete become subgrade. Even reactive concrete that simply falls apart because of a chemical reaction between the aggregate and the cement. Shit happens.

Cover it with flex tape, crack sealers, wheeler dealers, cheating stealers and boozing squealers. At 100 yrs old shit happens.

yah - that shit is hell on auto surfaces and especially windshields. I wish they would simply stop plowing altogether. That in and of itself would send a few back to the place they came from.

    Lifted, Armored, needs more lights.
Early 80's Denver Snow stories was all I heard about when I got here in 2000. Denver region had like 50 total snow plows and Christmas 82, Thanksgiving 83 cost the mayor his job and finally pushed the area to invest in more snow plows I have been told.

So, until then the tactic was exactly what you said, wait for the snow to melt.

If you go to the Denver reddit during a snowstorm they practically expect CDOT to stand there with feather dusters to clean the road.
