OP....so this is basically a piss & moan problem.

YOU have the tools to solve the problem, but are unwilling to take action.

Do you need someone to do this for you, like a 1 year old needing his bottom wiped?

    good grief...............

I think the Lemon is sitting behind the steering wheel or a keyboard.

They’re probably at the dealership having them explain that driving in 4wd at 70mph you might have vibration and extra load on the engine and thus the noise.

I’ve thought this over and think I’ve solved the problem. Big misunderstanding. OP thought he purchased an electric truck. Which would run more quietly…

I am sorry that sucks about your brand new truck. The solution is to go to the dealership and have it diagnosed or live with it or sell the truck. There is no way to get around self diagnosing. It is still under the 3/36.
It might be something real simple like a reflash or something.
If it needs to be there longer than the service appointment and they have no loaners get a rental and call 1-800 and open a ticket. Good luck.

I work for a Toyota dealer. Put on your big-boy pants and take the truck in. Why on earth would you spend days discussing this issue with a bunch of strangers without taking the very first step... dealer inspection and diagnosis. You're mentioning "lemon" when you haven't got a chance in hell of getting that determination because you have no supporting dealer records to show they were given the chance to correct the issue. It could be something as simple as a loose heat shield that only vibrates under specific conditions as you've described. It could be a low fluid...yes, these things should be checked before delivery but the work is performed by humans, so....

Well, what should the OP do?

    Will the truck get fixed?
    Will the OP get fixed?

Tune in [maybe never] for the exciting conclusion of SoftwareRoader Buys a Lemon!

I'm hoping nothing. Who cares anymore I think everyone has said their peice, advice giving people and OP. Just let him do what he wants we are all grown up and if there is new information great or if not I don't think it matters either way.

The original poster has gone dark. Clearly he’s at the dealer today letting them touch his truck.

If I were the OP (assuming he's not a troll), I'd just sell the truck and move on. With the prices new trucks are going for, if you can find one, he can probably get at least his money back.

Maybe a Ridgeline would be more suitable.
