    Polling the community....

Anyone know where I can source the 5.5 ft side plates for the top rack? The 4.5ft rack was just too short for the ARE DCU topper and I haven't installed it.

I contacted CBI/Prinsu through their contact us page and didn't get a reply after 2 weeks. Then decided to call them. They weren't willing to negotiate and claimed they only sell the full kits; or could return the entire 4.5ft rack with a 20% restock fee plus eat the shipping. So now I have to be unhappy with my purchase. All I wanted to do was purchase the additional side plates and an additional cross member.

Seems a bit ludicrous to tell a customer that has given them thousands of dollars already for their products....bumper, sliders, full skids, gas skid, cabrack with accessories.

Guess they're doing well enough to lose sales and customers.

Got any pics? I'm curious how the 4.5 is too short, but the 5.5 fits on a 5 ft bed. Good to know they don't sell replacement parts though o_O

You might try one of the many resellers of Prinsu racks. Maybe they stock parts.

Real shame to hear about the conpany. I was thinking of getting a prinsu rack, too!

however, your best bet is to find a fabricator to make you some! I was a fabricator in the military and I just think it’s outrageous how much some of these bumpers cost..

Resell it on here. There's people who don't want to wait the lead times that cbi is infamous for. Then go buy an Uptop and never think about it again.

Ya, I was playing around trying to create a work around. The basket ended up on the cab rack as originally intended. I considered getting another basket to have two on the top rack but I eventually want to get a tent up there.

yeah, kind of disappointed in their customer service. I loved their rack so I tried other products… well, they never came. After multiple ignored emails and false promises over the phone, they preferred to cancel my order instead of adding another item to my order so they could ship together. Good luck OP.

Make your own? I used Emachineshop.com to make a prinsu matched rack for my shell using their free CAD program- it was easy.

CBI is so full of shit. Absolute shit service and even more despicable for an already existing customer.
