The Green Truck... 5lug to 6lug conversion

Deavers disassembled, wire wheeled to remove caked on dirt and repainted to look good.
TG sliders welded up and painted with Raptor liner.
Rear Kings getting new pit free shafts.

 

Trail gear spring hangers showed up today, they are pretty beefy. Finally going to get to mount my Deavers.

 

Relocating the hangers for the newer style leafs?

 

Yes I got j59s, they are longer than a 97 is set up for.

 

was the frame miguel got a pre 98 or no? if it is i'll need to do the same.. the 98 with the supercharger has an agreed price and i'll be picking it up soon. going to try and retain its originality as much as i can.

this 98 is the spitting image of tylers truck. except its a factory 4x4 TRD offroad with the locker and a 5 speed and the 3.4



plus that magic little supercharger.

New leaf hangers on and Deaver's mounted
Waiting on Valves for the kings.

You got a fair number of parts trucks goin on...nice to have the room to store em.
You contacted me about a wheel (steering) gray you might have kickin around.
I want to lower the thing back down i think.I rearched the rear and added a leaf and put 5100's up front.
Damn thing sits sky high now,musta went a bit overboard i suspect.

Haven't done anything yet this summer but got tired of dragging around my welder on my dirt driveway so I made an off-road welding cart out of scrap metal I had laying around. (It's not done yet)

 

Got some wheeling in last week in South Lake Tahoe.
Hit up the Rock garden and tested the flex.

 

Finally got some time to weld on my sliders.

 

Came across an All-pro rear bumper. Last week.

 

Swapped out the warn xd9000 for a vr8000 and relocate the control box under the hood.

 

New front skid added thanks for the hook-up @Fernando


also picked up a 2nd gen rear locker to regear and drop in to 2000 rear e-locker housing.

 

Yeeee! Looks good!

 

added a light bar and welded in a receiver to mount a winch or dirt-bike rack.
