    Things are just things.

We attach memories and emotions to those things, but it’s the memories and experiences that matter.

I’m always sorry to hear about these situations. I served five years of my sentence before I was released early for good behavior. Now, I do what I please at all times and it’s glorious. Divorces are so expensive because they’re worth it. Who said that..?:spending:

we like the highlander. Got a 2018 LE+ AWD. The third row is a nice option to have but we have it folded down 95% oh the time. My brother just got a 2021 hybrid and loves it

    Yeah.
I could never do it. I haven't been without a Toyota truck in some form for the last 29 years. When the A/C went out on my '92 pickup, I kept it and got a Matrix that could fit the kids in the back. Some guy kept showing up with cash in hand to buy it, but I wouldn't sell, even with my wife bugging me about it. I traded the Matrix for a new '04 Tacoma and finally got myself to let it go.

EDIT: My wife has had 4Runners for the last 20+ years except for a short stint in a Highlander. She didn't like the Highlander as much, that's as close as we ever got to a minivan. Except for the motor in my 3rd gen maybe.

Im pretty fortunate that work allows me personal use, and even covers my wife to use it. I pay $100 a month for the privileges so it’s not too shabby.

I do not know why people think they need a huge vehicle with 1 or 2 kids. You dont! I dont get the reasoning behind this. With 3 kids yes, but 2 no.

Should have gone with a Tundra Crew Max. Plenty of room. I was wasting time at the dealership the other day. There was a Ram 2500 Laramie on the lot, MSRP 73,000 wasn't a Power Wagon, or a Mega Cab. Fullsize 4dr pick ups would work for a family, and it's still a truck.

pretty sure I see that orange truck driving around all the time. Also, it looks like your plug for the trailer tail lights etc.. on the tow hitch broken off the plastic clip and hanging down. I think this happened to every tacoma that actually goes off road, mine has been held on by zip ties for 8 years. lol

Older gentleman drives it now he’s got bed racks on it now, I actually didn’t see it for a year after I sold it but now it pops up in my town from time to time.

:rofl:That’s exactly how mine broke and I have a pile of zip ties around I’m just too lazy to do it

Debating selling mine right now and I’m getting sellers regret. I don’t think I’ll be able to do it! But it keeps giving me a hard time so I might have to in order to get a more reliable car

2-stroke race bike. I had a Yamaha TZR-250. Really fun super light machine. Handled awesome.

I've a couple I regret selling, though I made the best decision at the time..my 1984 Camaro was a money pit when I was 20 years old, lot of good memories made in that car..and a couple on the car with an old girlfriend too :)

My 1973 Buick Apollo is the one I miss a lot..got it in 1993, 50K one owner miles, 350 Rocket 2bbl. Had the original window sticker, owner's manual, sale contract...faded paint but no rust etc. Made a good amount selling it at least.

My truck is going nowhere, 2010 2WD single cab. Got it October 2012 with 6557 miles, now has 117K.

    BUT..

Picked it up Monday after 3 months at the dealer. New frame and all the ancillary stuff (LCAs, leafs, brake lines, plus small stuff like coolant)..on my dime, new shocks/struts/coilovers. I'd be a fool to part with it after that.

    A very wise man, clearly..

Back in 1997 we had our 1st kiddo. My wife was absolutely against any kind of minivan, sedan or SUV. She wanted a 1st gen XtraCab Taco. So we got that as our family car.

Jump ahead a zillion years and one more kiddo and now second kiddo drives mom's old 1997 1st gen Taco with pride (and 250k miles).

Friend of mine raced one long ago at Moroso WPB. Love taking old 2 stroke race bikes. Pic from an old race day back then. These 2, RZ500 and FZR parked just outside the pits made me drool.
