    I had a kimber pro carry 2 for a while. Best immediate action drill trainer I ever had so I don’t have a great opinion of them.

    I’d also say you’re more experienced with the shield, there’s way more holster support for it, probably more magazine support, and I’d bet a large sum it’s more reliable over different types of ammo. I don’t see any reason to bring or carry the kimber over it.

    ARE Z-series shell, ImMrYo mirror lift, always on fog-lights.
    It sounds like you are wanting to transition over to the Micro 9 so I would bring that with the Shield as a backup in case you run into issues. It will be a good test to see if the Micro 9 is reliable for concealed carry use or if its better to stick with the Shield.

    Same, I was going to have a local guy bob the ruger for me but then this one came along for only $100 more than what I decided to sold it for. If I wasn't selling it to a friend I probably could have got $650 or more for the Ruger and then it would have almost been like an even trade.

    I have nothing bad to say about the Shield. And it definitely has eaten everything I've put through it. The only reason I am leaning to the Kimber is that it is more comfortable, and less noticeable. Thank you for the response.

    That's a good idea. I only worry that he will flame me fierce if the Micro jams or something. Not too worried as I've been the joke of the class more than once :rolleyes:
