thanks for the head's up on that but that style of swing out isn't exactly what i'm looking for since i want to keep my tailgate. I had a similar idea to your swing out replacing the tailgate yesterday, doodled out where i could weld up a swing out connected to a bed reinforcement bar.
would hold nothing more than a set of maxxtraxx on the inside of the tailgate or a side table to cook on.

I'm in no rush for a swing out or high clearance bumper, figured to check 4WP site this morning and saw they revealed a full line of stuff people could outfit just this week. It's pretty nice for accessibility and i wouldn't need to pay half the cost of a rear bumper in brokerage and shipping fees from the US where most aftermarket bumpers are made.
best way to save money is not to buy anything!

I have a pair of brand new, never mounted 1-inch Eibach Lift blocks if anyone needs em. No hardware, just the blocks included.

$80 OBO work? Can bring 'em on Saturday (will only be there from 10-11)

I ordered some from 4wp if I decide to go that route. I'm not sure quality matters for a chunk of metal.

For those of you with sliders and lifted trucks, do you notice a clearance issue getting in and out? Do you hit them with your shins or feet?

Getting in won't been too much of an issue unless you're a bit shorter, you'll just find yourself grabbing the truck more to hop it - it's getting out that's annoying if you want to keep the back of your legs clean lol

Wife keeps complaining about getting in cause it has a small lift. Thinking sliders/step bars might help. Who new that her complaining that 3 inches is too much lmfao

Hahah yeah same problem here - it will definitely help. If you go with 0 degree sliders, they will be better/more useful as steps. I have 20 degree sliders and they kick up a bit close to the body so you just got to be more careful when using them as steps. Overall though, you should be fine. Mine uses them as "steps" to get in.

Plus, the passenger side has the handle to grab when getting in so it shouldn't be an issue after sliders.
